The cat with a drill that mines and sells blocks to a duck in the shop.
You play as a cat that is stranded on an unknown planet. To escape the planet you need to get fuel for your rocket.
to reach greater depths you need to upgrade the drill with money you earned from selling mined blocks.

This is a 2d side-scrolling game about mining.
You play as a cat stuck on an unknown planet trying to get fuel for your rocket in order to escape.
What makes this game different?
The fact that you play as a cat!
And you have to manage the way you play, you can't just fill up you inventory because you would have problems getting back to the surface.
Why are all entities non-human?
Many games are based on humans doing stuff, we thought it would be fun to use animals instead.

I saw Vim play your other game, and noticed this one, it's fun! Looks like it's been 3 years since you've worked on it, are you interested in picking it back up again? I feel that it has some good potential! I featured it on my channel here:

Since it uses an older engine version, updating it is quite challenging. However, I’m currently developing an update and have already added some new features, like building. After watching your play-through, I realized that some actions could be made clearer.
Crypto :(
Hi,
I am aware that some anti virus software report Minecat as a crypto miner. This is a known issue with the Godot engine and I am looking for a fix.

Avira finds a crypto virus in this. If it is a false positive, consider speaking with them.
oh that’s interesting. I don’t use windows myself, but I’ll look into it to fix any false positives regarding antivirus software.
In the mean time I can assure you there is no such things as viruses/crypto miners in it.

how to chop
Go to the shop on the right of where you spawn (press E to open) then get the first drill. After that exit the shop and use your move to aim at a block and hold left mouse to mine.
